The app creates root.disk, stages the signed boot chain on the ESP, and sets a one-shot boot entry.
Deploy
One reboot: the signed chain launches a small installer that writes the chosen OS image into root.disk, with optional LUKS/TPM2 encryption.
Live in both
A boot hook attaches root.disk on every boot and pivots into a native Linux system. Windows stays on the boot menu and its drive is there in the file manager.
Commit, or do not
Graduate Linux onto a real partition when you are sure, dual-boot indefinitely, or uninstall and leave no trace.
Features
A password is the whole form
Your username and computer name come from your PC, the disk is sized from your free space, and TPM-backed encryption is the default. Everything else is stated on screen and adjustable under Advanced.
Your setup carries over
Files, Wi-Fi networks, wallpaper, accent colour, keyboard layout, taskbar pins, browser profiles, Steam libraries and WSL packages. Passwords, keys and tokens stay on Windows: you sign in again where it matters.
Secure Boot, not disabled
The deployer runs under a Microsoft/Fedora-signed boot chain from a one-shot boot entry, so Secure Boot stays on and nothing else on the machine is touched.
A real image catalog
GNOME, KDE Plasma, Niri and XFCE on Enterprise Linux, Fedora, Arch and Debian bases, or any supported custom OCI image.
Try it before you reboot
Boot the result in a VM window from inside Windows first.
An honest way back
Uninstall lives in Windows' own Apps list. It removes the boot entry and installer, restores changed settings, and only reclaims a partition wootc itself created.
