Mission
Protota is a GNOME HIG-compliant mockup tool for Adwaita app UIs. It uses real
@gjsify/adwaita-web web components so
mockups look and behave like real Adwaita — not pixel replicas. Live at
https://tuna-os.github.io/protota/.
Current Status (August 2026)
- Active development (commits daily); Playwright E2E suite in place.
- Community health files landed (CODE_OF_CONDUCT.md, CONTRIBUTING.md, SECURITY.md, LICENSE — #173 closed).
- 2 open issues (08-24): Broadway Reference Capture red 5 consecutive nightly runs (#255, ci-maintainer) and CI baseline adoption (#184).
- Prior roadmap trackers all closed: flaky E2E tests (#156/#165), LICENSE (#173), Adwaita conformance modals/shortcuts (#159/#160), window buttons (#158/#163).
